OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek is ranked the 91st best place to live in Wisconsin in a 2022 study released by Niche on Monday. Nationally, Oak Creek came in at No. 5,098 for the best places to live.
Niche says it ranked over 18,000 towns and 220 cities across the nation for its 2022 study. According to its website, the company used data from the U.S. Census, FBI and CDC, among other sources, to rank communities on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities. The company said it also includes neighbor reviews to create its rankings.
The 91st place ranking is compared to 408 other cities and towns in the state.
Niche gave Oak Creek an "A-" in its overall grade.

In Wisconsin, Whitefish Bay, Elm Grove and Kohler were ranked as the top three communities to live in.
