Save money and learn to grow plants that attract butterflies and pollinators from seed, cutting, and division. This in-person class will teach you how to attract and keep butterflies in your garden year-round along with other pollinators and beneficial insects, which are important to a healthy ecological landscape. We will talk about common butterflies and about key nectar and host plants for Central Florida. Attendees will get plant starts to take home. $10.00 per person/Kids 12 and under are free. Presented by Tia Silvasy, Orange County Florida-Friendly Landscaping Agent. Pre-registration is required along with the non-refundable class registration fee, if any. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process.
