NORRISTOWN, PA — Heavy flooding has led to the closure of the bridge between Norristown and Bridgeport. The DeKalb Street Bridge was shut down at around 9 a.m. due to flooding conditions in the area, as Tropical Storm Isais made its way through the Delaware Valley. >>Montco Officials Urge Residents To Take Storm Precautions First responders were already addressing multiple incidents in the Norristown area early Tuesday, including disabled vehicles and road obstructions. A tornado watch has been issued in Montgomery County through 4 p.m., and a flash flood watch is in effect through midnight. Four to six inches of rain are expected in the county, with wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour possible. Check back for more details as they become available.
