NORRISTOWN, PA — Heavy flooding has led to the closure of the bridge between Norristown and Bridgeport. The DeKalb Street Bridge was shut down at around 9 a.m. due to flooding conditions in the area, as Tropical Storm Isais made its way through the Delaware Valley. >>Montco Officials Urge Residents To Take Storm Precautions First responders were already addressing multiple incidents in the Norristown area early Tuesday, including disabled vehicles and road obstructions. A tornado watch has been issued in Montgomery County through 4 p.m., and a flash flood watch is in effect through midnight.
