Five College Scholarships Are Available From Waterbury CT Teachers Federal Credit Union General Scholarships A 2 - Year Scholarship - $2,500 award per year, granted to the most outstanding student entering any field of study.Two 1 - Year Scholarships - $2,500 award granted to outstanding students entering any field of study. The John F. Cronan Scholarship A one-time $2,500 award granted to the most outstanding Waterbury resident graduating from a Waterbury public high school (Crosby, Kennedy, Waterbury Arts Magnet, Waterbury Career Academy and Wilby). The Jean O'Brien Memorial Scholarship A $2,500 award, renewable each year for a maximum of three years, granted to the most outstanding student entering the field of education.
