Here are the top three stories in Norfolk today: The Norfolk Police Department responded to an attempted burglary on Tuesday morning in the 1500 block of McNeal Avenue. According to the department, the victim's dog was shot by the burglars and the dog has been taken for medical treatment. McNeal Avenue was closed while the department conducted an investigation. (News 3 WTKR Norfolk)The Norfolk International Airport has reported a notable increase in passenger activity last month. The report details a 98 percent increase in passengers for February 2022. There were 232,207 passengers last month which is considerably higher than February 2021's 117,247 count. (WYDaily)The Norfolk Police Department has detained several students after Granby High School was placed on lockdown Tuesday. The department responded to the school after a report was issued about a person with a weapon being at the school.
