Press release from Town of Arlington: 03/15/2022 9:00 AM As part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded Parks & Playground Investment Plan presented by the Park and Recreation Commission, the Arlington Recreation Department seeks feedback on the design/equipment for new playgrounds at the Stratton, Peirce, and Bishop Elementary Schools.  The Park Commission and Representatives from the Arlington School Department held two public input sessions for these renovations. Below are the presentations made by Warner Larson Landscape Architects at the second public input session on March 10th. These plans will be slightly modified,  based on input from that meeting, and will go to the Park Commission for final approval later in March.  Stratton School Playground Design Peirce School Playground Design Bishop School Playground Design Written comments may be sent to the Arlington Recreation Office, 422 Summer Street, Arlington, MA 02474 or emailed to [email protected].  The design is on an accelerated schedule to have bids awarded by the summer 2022 construction period.
