Families have the option of either remaining fully virtual for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year, as all district students have been since September, or moving into a hybrid model, where they would return to in-person instruction on a part-time basis. >>Norristown Schools Will Not Hold In-Person Instruction In 2020 Norristown was one of the only districts in the county to state firmly back in the summer that they would not be opening schools to any in-person learning until next January. Most districts began fully virtual and have since attempted to phase in hybrid platforms, giving parents a choice on what they wanted to do.
