DANBURY, CT — Two of the city's top crisis leaders are shaving their heads for a good cause.
Matthew Cassavechia, Danbury's emergency management director, and Police Chief Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour have signed on to the annual St. Baldrick's head-shaving event to help raise money and awareness to fight childhood cancer.
Cassevechia is just $122 shy of his $5,000 goal, as of Monday afternoon. The Chief has raised $1,549 of his $2,500 target contribution. The overall event goal is $25,000, and the St. Baldrick's Foundation is $524 short of their $25,000 goal.
