Refresco Yard Driver FULL-TIME $18/hr 2090 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801 The Driver is committed to being responsible for moving (shunting) trailers and maintaining accuracy in delivering full goods in order to provide the customer with the highest quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Duties include: - Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas - Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or SQF requirements. - Moving, or “shunt,” emptying and loaded trailers from the loading docks to and from the yard - Operating trailer/ tractor in a safe, efficient, and productive manner - Conducting trailer inspections, loading full good trailers, and offloading Port–o-Pets - Bringing to management’s attention, any hazardous condition that could cause an accident or an unsafe working condition and keep working area clean and tidy as required - Participating in, when requested, hazard assessments and analysis - Immediately bring to the attention of management any damaged goods or shortages - Actively assisting to continuously improve efficiency, performance, and reducing downtime and waste - Promoting enthusiastic, positive, and proactive attitudes and team-based behaviors - Committing to successfully achieving the goals and objectives of the team, the department, and the company Schedule - Shift start: 6:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: 3-4 days a week depending on rotation Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 60 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Valid driver license - At least 3 years in a fast-moving packaged goods environment - Previous experience in a production/warehouse environment - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About Refresco We are the world’s largest independent bottler for retailers and A-brands in Europe and North America.
