Reliable pool technician needed for 3-4 days of pool maintenance in Cape Coral and a small amount in North Fort Myers. Pools are mostly residential and 2 small condos. Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate. Must have a valid driver's license and you may be subjected to a random drug test. A company truck is provided if needed (you would be responsible for fuel going back and forth to home). Hours will range between 35-40 hours a week and are relatively flexible. Weekly pay (either direct deposit or check) plus Christmas bonuses. Commission is paid on jobs sold or new accounts you pick up. Pay starts at $20 per hour with the opportunity to advance. Clients often tip for Christmas (or just in general). Must be able to carry 40-50 pounds, walk on uneven terrain, speak English, keep records and have good communication skills. No technical experience on pumps, motors, timers, etc is needed. Owner takes care of all of that (the employee could make more if willing to do the technical work). This is Florida and rumor has it, it is on the warm side June-Sept, you must be able to work in Florida heat (if you want to spread the pools out to half days 5-6 days per week, that is fine with us). Boss is not a creep, meth head, cheapskate, nor emotionally unstable. As long as you can do what you'll say you can do, we'll have a good working relationship...
