Hello! My job is to take care of the Phinney-Greenwood Business District, which is basically: *Phinney Ave N between the Zoo and N. 67th St. *Greenwood Ave N between N. 67th St. and N 87t St. *N 65th St. between Phinney Ave and 8th Ave N. *N 85th St. corridor between 3rd Ave N. and Fremont Ave. If you live in the neighborhood (and ideally do if you are interested in this post), you probably have noticed that we are experiencing a break-in nearly every night to one of our small businesses. I am putting together a resource guide and one thing businesses would love is someone they can call at 8am (or whenever you designate) and request you come out and install temporary plywood over their smashed-in door or windows while they wait for glass companies to eventually install their new windows. If you're someone who is generally available, live nearby, and can respond quickly to a request, please email me if you're interested in being listed as a resource for this.
