The suspect fired at officers when they arrived on the scene for a welfare check and reports of shots fired. Law enforcement attempted discourse with the individual for around six hours before he emerged from his home and continued shooting at officers. Multiple NETCAST officers returned fire, killing the man. No other injuries were reported.
