Rehoming our Ferret

We are so sad to be making this post but we need to rehome our ferret, Sadie. We adopted her a few weeks ago with the intent to adopt her a friend as well but we had to get her a cage that suited her. By the time we had her in a cage she liked (double Midwest ferret nation) we had realized that my boyfriend is allergic to her and I might have a more mild allergy to her. She is a wonderful girl, very playful and sweet. She loves being pet on her head and interacting with us. She even loves to play with our Chihuahua. She’s young, less than 6 months old, she’s spayed, descented, up-to-date on her shots, and has recently had her nails trimmed. We adore her and wish we could keep her and give her the home she deserves but we’re realizing that we can’t. Her rehoming fee is $350 and is for her and a few toys and her food. I would like her to go to someone who already has a ferret(s)so I am willing to separate her from her cage in hopes of finding her a ferret family. If you don’t have a cage or are looking for a cage upgrade with her, my only request is that you have another ferret or are planning on getting another ferret soon. Her rehoming fee with the cage is $650 obo. That would cover her, the cage, and everything I have for her. Serious inquiries only, please.
