NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department has announced the latest addition to their force. Officer Danielle DeSimone was sworn into the force on the morning of Tuesday, March 15. Judge Leonard J. Brown administered the Oath of Office. Officer DeSimone's parents were present at the ceremony, pinning her badge on for the first time. DeSimone graduated from the Temple University Police Academy on Monday, being sworn into her latest role in Bucks County the next day. "Please join us in welcoming Officer DeSimone to Northampton Twp.," the police department said in a statement.
