BRISTOL, PA — A popular Bristol Borough bakeshop closed its doors over the weekend. Angelina's Bake Shop, located on 312 Mill Street, closed its doors "until further notice" on Sunday, March 13. The bakeshop, which opened its doors in 2019, was operated by Angelina and Sergio Cargitlado. In a statement, which was published on social media, the bakeshop said that the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was the main reason the popular Mill Street spot closed its doors over the weekend. "Please know this decision was not taken lightly, as we have prided ourselves in being a bright spot in our community," the bakeshop said on Facebook. "Please continue to support your local small businesses, stay sweet & look to our social media handles for any updates we may have."
