Transcend Fitness Hosting Halloween Trunk Or Treat Event

NEWTOWN, PA — In keeping with the spirit of Halloween despite a global pandemic, one Newtown business is holding a Trunk or Treat event. Transcend Fitness Club will host a Trunk Or Treat in the field behind its main gym on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 12-2 p.m. The gym is located at 591 Durham Road, Newtown. Participants are asked to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items for The Shir Ami Food Bank in order to participate in the event. Prizes will be awarded for Kids Best Costume, Best Overall Trunk Theme and Least Items Used Trunk Theme. Click here to sign up. While local officials have not indicated plans to limit trick or treating, the annual Newtown Halloween parade will likely be costume contest only this year.
