Check out just a few of the puppies, now available through Safe Haven Dog Rescue: Walker My name is Walker and I am 8 weeks and about 15lbs and growing! I hitched a ride from Arkansas with my siblings, I am staying with 3 siblings and 5 foster dog siblings who know I'm boss (11lbs to 100lbs). I am a tough, confident boy who loves to greet my family with puppy kisses and tail wags and then wrestle and chase! No dog is too big for a fun game of play but I also do listen when the Chihuahua tells me I'm too much and it's nap time! Don't let my rough and tumble personality fool you, I am adaptable and always up for a new adventure - I just discovered playing in the backyard and chasing leaves! My outgoing personality also means I love to meet new people including kids as young as 3, they loved my puppy kisses and I loved that they played with me and let me climb on them! Just like my siblings I am very smart and know sit and paw and am working on starting to potty train, I also use my potty pads and sleep nicely in my crate. But when it's morning, I try to knock over siblings, so I am first to get the morning hugs and pets! Because of my sweet nature and desire to play my foster mom thinks I'd like an active family with kids and dogs to keep me busy! Would you be my perfect match, puppy kisses included? Chief Large Breed, Male, Catahoula/Hound/Lab Mix Chief, the big man on campus. Although he loves to be the life of the party, Chief is always down for some cuddles. He'll be in your lap and ready to be loved in an instant. Looking for someone loyal? Chief is your best bud. With a face as cute as his, he can't help being the center of attention. His spunky personality and unique fur pattern on his back make him a one-of-a-kind guy. In his free time, Chief loves to spend quality time with his foster family and fellow littermates. He is the perfect addition to any loving companion or family. Neve Sweet Neve is a female shepherd mix. She is currently 8 pounds at 8 weeks old. Neve is a great pup with plenty of personality. She loves to cuddle and be by your side.... She is a bit vocal if you leave her, but she will quiet down after a bit. She loves snuggling with her sibling and likes to play with the resident dog. Neve has been around cats, and while she is curious about them, she doesn't seem to mind sharing space with them! Foster mom thinks Neve would benefit from another dog in the house to keep her company. She is quite sweet and has been good around kids as well. Neve is doing pretty good with pee pads, and now that the weather is nicer will be going out more often. She sleeps in a playpen with her sibling, travels nicely in a car, and has done well on her first attempts on a leash.
