GILROY, CA — One person died in an accident in Gilroy on Monday after a car collided with a semi-truck at the intersection of Monterey Road and Travel Park Circle. The driver of the car was found dead at the scene, according to Gilroy police. The name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, and an investigation is underway on the cause of the accident.
