Press release from the City of Decatur: March 15, 2022 City crews will be performing pavement repair in the 500 block of West Garfield Avenue, between North College Street and North Monroe Street, beginning Wednesday, March 16, 2022. This work will cause the closure of the west bound traffic lane starting at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022, and will continue to approximately 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022.  Motorist should slow down, use extreme caution and are encouraged to seek an alternate route around the work zone.
