Authorities Seek Suspects In Armed Robbery At Culver City Mall

CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City police are asking the public to help identify two suspects who robbed a victim at gunpoint, stealing about $3,650 in jewelry at the Westfield Culver City parking lot, authorities announced Tuesday. Officers were flagged down near Bristol Parkway and Hannum Avenue at 4:33 p.m. Sunday, according to the Culver City Police Department. The victim told officers that he was robbed as he left the mall with his girlfriend at the fourth level of the parking structure at Westfield Culver City, 6000 Sepulveda Boulevard, police said. Two suspects approached him at gunpoint and demanded that the victim give them his jewelry, police said. He gave them his two gold chain necklaces, Rolex ring and a gold chain bracelet. Officers searched for the two suspects, who fled in an unknown area, police said. They were not located. Police released a description of the two men. The first suspect is described as a Black man, about 20 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, thin build wearing a military green hoodie, black pants and a black face covering. The second suspect is described a white or Latino man, about 20 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, gray sweats, dark-colored face covering.
