NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man faces multiple charges after police say he was driving under the influence during a crash that took place Sunday on Naper Boulevard and left a Glen Ellyn woman, 55, seriously injured. Bakari M. Diaby, 22, was charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal lane usage, failure to reduce speed and driving an uninsured motor vehicle in connection with the crash. According to police, Diaby was driving a Honda CRV south on Naper Boulevard just before 7 p.m. when the car crossed the double yellow lane dividers and hit a Nissan Altima that was driving north on Naper Boulevard.
