Here are the top three stories today in Savannah: The Hostess City is ready with open arms to welcome St. Patrick's Day revelers. The countdown to the return of the St. Patrick's Day celebration in Savannah is on. Hotels and businesses are expecting to see huge crowds with this event being the first large-scale celebration since the start of the pandemic. The bulk of the visitors is expected to arrive today and tomorrow. (WSAV-TV) Broughton Street's newest store "Locally Made Savannah" is opening ahead of St. Patrick's Day. "Literally 100% of everything we make is made here in Savannah and the Lowcountry," said co-owner Tonya Rintye. As of now, the store is featuring 150 local artists and Rintye says that number will grow. The store is getting ready to open this week. Check the store's Facebook page for updates. (WJCL News Savannah) Savannah police are investigating after a man's body was discovered at a middle school. SPD and Chatham County Board of Education police officers were called to Myers Middle School Sunday around 6:45 p.m. Investigators identified the deceased as Joshua Mills, 28, on Monday. Authorities do not believe Mills' death was related to the location where his body was found.
