NEWTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Department of Health recorded violations at nine bars and restaurants last month. Here's what health inspectors found: Acqua E Farina, 3 violations: Towels and napkins stored with food in refrigeration units; some food kept at unsafe temperatures; restaurant dishwasher failed to reach required heating temperatures ClubHouse Bar, 6 violations: Employees observed not wearing masks when working; soda gun nozzle and drain described as "unclear with a mold-like substance and debris"; food in prep units kept at unsafe temperatures George School Cafeteria, 2 violations: Temperature gauges on dish machine need calibration Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio, 5 violations: Food in walk-in cooler was uncovered; observed flies around soda gun drains Guru's Indian Cuisine, 6 violations: Employees did not have masks upon arrival; food workers observed using bare hands for preparing ready to eat food; observed food in prep units at unsafe temperatures Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, 3 violations: Observed food in prep top units at unsafe temperatures La Stalla Market, 1 violation: Employees observed wearing masks under their chin Vecchia Osteria, 8 violations: Uncovered food in walk-cooler and seafood freezer; food in bottom prep refrigerator kept at unsafe temperatures; observed food thawing on the counter instead of in refrigerator or under running water; food workers not wearing hair restraints as required Yummi Sushi, 1 violation: Fish in Sushi prep area kept at unsafe temperatures.
