Hello Craigslist! I have pet fancy rats available for adoption. They are 10 weeks old. I have two males available, they are both black. One is solid, the other is hooded. I also have one female, she is a black silvermane. If you're interested in the female, you must have females for her to join as rats cannot live alone. All of them are friendly and curious. They are healthy with no signs of respiratory issues or other common health concerns in rats. The males previously had mite infestations but received treatment and no longer have them. Their ears are still healing. These rats are pets, not food, and are priced as such. $25 each. If you're interested, I will ask for photos of their cage set up so I can make sure they'll have a good life with you. I'll also ask some basic questions about rat care to make sure you understand proper husbandry and so I can give you tips if you need them. I'm not going to "drill" you and I don't believe you have to know every detail in order to be a good parent to them, as long as you're willing to learn! (: I don't allow people into my home to meet the rats but I'm happy to set up a Zoom call so I can show you their cages and so you can see live videos of them to pick out your future friends.
