Are you ready to learn advance tree care techniques? We have the following positions open: Climber Safely and effectively climb trees (with and without spurs) to perform tree maintenance. Pruning in-tree and from the ground primarily with a hand saw, and with an electric or gas chainsaw. Complex rigging during large pruning and removals, often with very small drop zones. Interface with clients to answer questions and provide information while on the job site. Drive truck with trailer to and from headquarters, job sites, and green waste facility. Pay range DOE Pesticide Applicator Mulch application, root crown excavation and vertical mulching (with an Airspade or hand tools), organic fertilizer, and pest control product application. Groundsman Move brush, tree limbs, and other plant material from yards to wood chipper. Safely feed brush into chipper. Drive truck with trailer to and from headquarters, job sites, and green waste facility. Must have valid driver’s license (CDL not required). Position requires a clean driving record and history of driving. Training provided as needed. This is a physically demanding job. Must be able to routinely carry and/or lift up to 75 pounds, including tree limbs and other equipment. Must be able to spend majority of time outdoors in sunshine, clouds, and rain. Maintain a high level of quality work product and output. Greatland Tree Service is a drug free environment. Use on or near the job site will not be tolerated. Show up ready to work. Job Type: Full-time 4-10 hour shifts Experience: Tree climbing: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
