NEWTOWN, PA — A local hair stylist has been selected to do the men's grooming for an upcoming "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" special 20th anniversary series featuring Jimmy Kimmel as the host.
Tracey Bowen Tobin of Bowen's Barber Shop in Newtown will be doing the hair and makeup for the men guests on the show. Bowen Tobin says she'll be shooting the series in March in California, and the eight-episode special will air in mid-April on ABC.
During the special series, Jimmy Kimmel will host celebrity contestants playing for charity.
The contestant names have not yet been announced.
Bowen Tobin is not new to television — she's served as the resident stylist and makeup artist for NBC Sports' soccer show "Men In Blazers."
According to Variety, the upcoming "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" series is the first time the popular game show has been back in production since the daytime version ended in May.
The new format will feature a live, play-along app that will allow viewers to compete in real-time, Variety said.
