Indie Surf Band Seeking Bass

We’re looking for a male or female bassist for our surfy, goth punk, indie rock band. It’s a mashup of styles. We are currently a 3-piece instrumental band with 2 guitars and drums. Our current age range is 25-40, but we're open to musicians of any age. We have about a dozen originals that we’re working on. You would have free reign to write your own bass parts. We’re all very open to collaboration and blending styles together. We practice once or twice a week in Orange County in Irvine or in Westminster. Come out and jam with us and see if it’s a good fit. Our short term goal is to record 3 or 4 songs for a demo and start playing some local gigs. Influences include: The Cure, The Smiths, The Clash, The Ventures, Dick Dale, The Police, Surf Curse, Fugazi, Cursive, The Misfits, Q and not U, Modest Mouse, Portishead, Snail Mail, The Chats If interested, email me and I can send over some live recordings from our band practice.
