ILLINOIS — Incumbent candidate Rep. Lauren Underwood will join opponent Jim Oberweis for a forum hosted by eight local chapters of the League of Women Voters on Sept. 26. The forum, set for 4 p.m., will be broadcast via Zoom. Republican Oberweis is vying to unseat Democrat Underwood from her spot in Illinois's 14th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Underwood unseated former Rep. Randy Hultgren in 2018. Residents can click the link to register for the forum and tune in live on Saturday.
