Miller Utilities has multiple labor positions available in the Hastings area. We focus on fiber optic underground installation for our telecommunication partner companies. we offer great pay, 401k, health/dental insurance, vacation and much more. Job duties include but are not limited to: 1. Making sure worksite is always safety compliant (i.e.)...vests on, cones out, and signs on route. 2. Daily truck and equipment inspections 3. Spot and backfill existing utilities. 4. Install pedestals, vaults, and connect newly installed conduit into them. 5. Pull fiber optic cable and multi-port’s into vaults and pedestals. 6. Disturbed soil and landscaping restoration. Requirements: Valid Driver’s License Valid DOT Health Card (one can be obtained upon hire) Preferred Skills: Class A Driver’s License (CDL) Physical Demands: Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds.
