Original rock band Accidental Alchemy is looking for a Singer/Vocalist We currently have a committed lead guitarist, drummer, bassist, and rhythm guitarist and are looking for a compatible singer. We create/play modern and alternative rock (think of the Foo Fighters, Cage the Elephant, Kings of Leon, Raconteurs, and Modest Mouse with a touch of influences from Led Zeppelin, ‘80s Hair Bands, and ‘90s alternative/grunge.) We all have professional careers outside the band so the band is a hobby (unless by some miracle we hit the big time, then we’d quit our jobs) We are currently seeking to create new music, record, and play the local area (preferably our songs but covers too). We rehearse once a week (possibly twice a week if preparing for a show). We do not want to waste your time or ours so there are a few prerequisites. We want someone who: Rock is their primary genre, has recordings (we will not schedule an audition unless we’ve heard your vocals, low quality recordings are ok), and is responsible (has a job/career, a car, and their own equipment). Interested singers must be familiar with most of our covers and be comfortable in that genre. Singer must be able to hit the harder notes (like in ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’).
