Join us for the virtual launch of digital BerkShares on March 21st. Our local currency is stepping into the future by going digital! Broadcast from the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington at 5:30 PM, this event will be a celebration of all that makes the Berkshires such a special place to live. See the public debut of the new BerkShares app, hear from area small businesses owners, artists influenced by the richness of the Berkshires, and our local currency team members. Plus, participate in some fun local trivia for a chance to win BerkShares-themed prizes! When our local currency was first launched 15 years ago, we celebrated the occasion at the Mahaiwe Theater to much fanfare. Though we've not yet been able to gather together in person, it's only fitting that we return to this venue to ring in digital BerkShares. Just as in 2006, we're pleased to once again have State Rep.
