WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA — The Washington Crossing Bridge is scheduled to be closed for center-line painting work between 9 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced Tuesday.
Drivers are advised to adjust their travel schedules or plan alternate routes during the hour-long closure period.
The narrow, two-lane, 115-year-old steel truss bridge connects Upper Makefield Township with Hopewell Township.
The bridge has a 15 mph speed limit and a three-ton load restriction.
