COLD IRON EXCAVATION is looking for an experienced and competent grading construction Foreman. We need a strong leader to supervise and coordinate daily activities of workers. Individual must be highly motivated with the ability to meet production deadlines while being safe at all times. Most of our work is in the Gallatin Valley, Montana Responsibilities: The Supervisor/Operator will be a working supervisor for up to a 5 person crew. Coordinate tasks and prioritize earthwork and snow removal during winter season Operate excavator, skid steer, loader, plow truck, etc. while leading crew. Ability to lay pipe, underground utilities, grading, cuts and fills and plow snow. Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor at excavation site. Expect the Supervisor/Operator to lead by example and to get down in the ditch and educate the team on how to perform the task at hand. The Supervisor will ensure that all tools and equipment are properly stored and put away at the end of the work day. Qualifications: Must have a positive attitude and be ready to work and punctual. Have a Valid driver’s license and insurance. Valid CDL is a plus. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Ability to work long hours, including weekends as necessary depending on weather conditions.
