Totally agree with your statement that politicians work for the American people. Elected officials are the employees of the American people. By voting, we "hire" these employees for a specific amount of time.
Politicians aren't the ones dividing America. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention or your sole source of information is far-right news outlets. We are in a fight for keeping democracy in the United States. Republicans no longer support democracy. Over 400 bills in 49 states have been passed or introduced to limited, prevent, make it more difficult for people to vote. The "targeted" people are minorities, people of color and people who tend to vote for democrats. Don't believe me, just do your research using non far-right wing news sources.
Personally, I think we are on the brink of a civil war. It will be between those who want democracy and those who want an autocracy aka Trump. I am on the side of democracy. Based on your posts, you are on the side of autocracy. That makes us enemies.
So, no. I will not be "uniting" with you or anyone like you. Quite the contrary.
