Hickman Assembly | Greater Columbus, OH We are a third-party vendor that provides assembly services for The Home Depot. In other words, we assemble Home Depot’s grills, wheelbarrows, tool-cabinets, carts, riding mowers, and everything else that they need assembled for their customers and store displays. We assemble on-site at a Home Depot store location near you. _______________________________________ Ideal Candidates: * Familiarity with basic hand tools - mechanically inclined * Learn quickly and able to follow instructions * Find motivation in speed challenges - Must communicate well, be dependable, hardworking, and a team player - Must be able to ensure a well-assembled product _______________________________________ Employment Type: * 1st shift * 2nd shift - Flexible Schedule _______________________________________ You Will Need: * Cordless Drill * Basic Hand Tools * Reliable Transportation * Energy - This Job is Active and Physical! _______________________________________ Compensation: * Commission based | piece work This job pays by-the-piece, meaning you get a set price for every item that you assemble. Your pay is determined by the amount of product you are able to assemble, not by-the-hour. The more you build, the more your pay will be. The faster you build, the higher your dollar per hour will be. Ex: 1 Grill that pays $10 | build 10 Grills in 5 hours = $100 total at an average of $20/hr * Earning Tiers | Career Advancement All New Hires are hired-on at 50%. There are then opportunities to advance to a career position, with earning tiers from 50%, to 55%, to 58%, and then to salary. Ex: 1 Grill set at $20 | $20 Grill pays $10 at 50% | $20 Grill pays $11 at 55% | $20 Grill pays $11.60 at 58% * Average of $15-$25/hr Average build times for a Grill will typically vary between 1hr and 30min to build. Ex: Slower Assembler = 1 Grill/hr | Average Assembler = 1.5 Grills/hr | Fast Assembler = 2 Grills/hr One Grill set at $20 will pay $10 to an assembler at the 50% tier 1 Grill/hr = $10/hr 1.5 Grills/hr = $15/hr 2 Grills/hr = $20/hr 2.5 $Grills/hr = $25/hr * Work at your own pace and enjoy the independence! * Bi-Weekly Pay | We pay via Direct Deposit every other Friday. _______________________________________ Job Responsibilities: * Assemble grills, wheelbarrows, tool-cabinets, carts, riding mowers, etc. * Be able to follow detailed assembly instructions, guidelines, and procedure * Communicate and work well with store-side staff * Maintain a clean and organized work area You will receive Training that will help you learn to build faster and better.
