Help us write a text message to prevent prescription drug overdoses. What does participating involve? A one-hour focus group discussion completed virtually, at a time that works for you. There are no costs to participate. As a “thank you”, you will receive a $35 Debit Card. Who can participate? • North Carolina residents who are 18 years of age or older • Prescribed opioid pills (e. g. hydrocodone, Vicodin®, oxycodone, OxyContin®, etc.) in the last year or anyone whose child or household member has been prescribed opioid pills in the last year • Access to the internet and either a computer with a video camera and microphone or a smartphone with the ability to pull up a link in web browser Who is conducting this study? A team of researchers at East Carolina University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and University of Kentucky. How do I sign-up?
