NEWTOWN, PA — Police in Newtown Township are seeking witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a car while walking along Sycamore Street Monday afternoon. According to police, the incident happened around 12:15 p.m., when a white car struck a pedestrian who was walking northbound on Sycamore Street. The pedestrian was hit by the car while crossing the intersection of Jefferson Street, according to police. The car was making a left turn onto Jefferson Street from Sycamore Street. The car did not stop after the incident, even after the pedestrian rolled onto the vehicle hood and then rolled off, police said. Luckily, no serious injuries were reported.
