Hello, We are rehoming our all black, pure bred, long-haired German Shepherd. He is 1 year old, male, not-neutered. Birthday - October 14, 2020 ** Rare Find Personality: He is a lover boy who loves hugs and cuddles. He is a sprinter who loves to run really really fast. He loves to play with his toys (all by himself), and likes to nibble on things with his front teeth. He is very playful!! He loves to play tug of war with you. He likes to play fetch and will bring the ball back, although not always, as he also likes to wait for you to approach and then quickly grabs the ball before you can. Even though he is very playful, he is also very calm and will play by himself with his toys. He loves looking outside the window. He will sit, and just stare for minutes. If he hears someone outside, he rushes to the window to see who it is before he barks. He is very smart! He loves vegetables!!! Squash, bell peppers, carrots, you name it, he loves it!! Training: He is already potty trained, and he will hold it until you let him go outside. He does great on a leash and does not pull on walks. He does great in car rides, he does not bark or whine. He is not an excessive barker. He only barks if someone is right at your door, but when he is in the backyard he is quiet (your neighbors will like this). He knows “sit”, “paw”, “lay down”, “stay”, “come here”, “bring me your toy”, and “pull” (when you’re playing tug of war). He is great off leash too. If you go outside to grab the mail, he will not leave your side. If he strays away for a second, you only need to tell him once to “come here” and he immediately comes. He does not chew up things in your home, except for your toys and your socks (if he doesn’t have toys around). Does not chew on wood, furniture, papers, clothes, etc.. This little guy is truly wonderful. We are rehoming him because we are moving and cannot keep him where we are going. We hope to find him a loving home.
