Fig & Pig Catering is searching for experienced and enthusiastic service team members to join us this upcoming season (and beyond) with weddings taking place throughout the Hudson Valley & Catskills, at the most exciting venues! We offer completive hourly pay + gratuity and the majority of our shifts are 8-10 hours. It is our hope that some server and bartender positions can grow into captain positions at a higher, competitive rate.
Qualities we are searching for are as follows...
prompt, courteous, friendly service to clients and guests
knowledgeable of menu, floor plans and timeline in advance
experience with family style, plated, buffet and progressive cocktail
style services
responsible for the set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, linens, place settings
monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests' needs, water and wine tables
clear empty plates and glasses from tables and bring them to saint station
take pride in the overall appearance of the event
assist co-workers as needed / team player
availability to commit in advance to various shifts/events which include nights, weekends (Friday through Sundays), some holidays
perform side work duties that may be assigned by supervisor
willingness to adhere to our dress code; typically all black (shirt, tie, pants, socks, shoes, mask)
Fig & Pig is not only known and sought after for our unique and amazing cuisine, our FOH team’s very positive vibes have always been very popular... experienced, fun, professional, clean and extremely attentive. We currently have 23 event dates that span from May through October, mostly Saturdays with some Fridays and Sundays too.
