OPEN: 03/10/2022 CLOSE: Open until filled CLUB: Yakima Athletic Club JOB TITLE: Housekeeping/Custodial PART TIME HOURLY: YES COMPENSATION: HOURLY . DATES/HOURS: Part-time day position Monday-Friday 8:00am-Noon (20 hours per week) JOB SCOPE: The main responsibility is to perform routine manual tasks in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance of the Yakima Athletic Club. Active daily duties involve a combination of, but are not limited to, the following: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or polishing floors; cleaning windows, mirrors and walls; removing trash, and other refuse; ordering and stocking of supplies and various paper products; cleaning lavatories, showers, locker rooms and restrooms. Stocking and laundering of towels. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications: • High school graduate or equivalent. • Must have a CPR/AED certification card. • Must have a minimum of 1-year housekeeping/custodial experience. • Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing a superior sales and service experience while increasing sales through service. • Communicate effectively and cooperate with others • Proven ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers. • Applicants should expect to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights and weekends if needed. • Must be self sufficient, reliable and be able to handle multiple tasks and difficult people and situations. • Deliver exceptional customer service • Must have transportation and a valid WA State drivers license.
