PMI Iowa is hiring a Lift Installation Technician. The Lift Installation Technician will manage Technician Assistants, timelines, and project completeness during all inspections, repair work, and new installations. Fantastic travel opportunity (10+ days at a time). This role offers a lucrative base pay, and other great benefits! PMI Iowa is located in Ames, IA. Job Responsibilities: • Perform load tests, state required inspections, and appropriate troubleshooting techniques according to ASME code • Manage appropriate vehicle maintenance and care, as well as all tools assigned to that vehicle • Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders, and saws, as well as appropriate non-powered hand tools • Complete appropriate paperwork including timesheets, daily field reports, back-ups, pictures of various stages of projects, etc. • Supervise and develop the trade skills of Technician Assistants Job Requirements: • High school diploma/GED • Previous project management experience • Completion of OSHA 30 Hour-Construction • Willingness to travel 2 weeks at a time Benefits: • Healthcare coverage • Dental and vision insurance • Disability and life insurance • Paid vacations and holidays PMI Iowa is a family-owned business who has been around for over 20 years.
