Folk Songwriter Seeking Upright Bassist

Male songwriter in 30's, looking to form band for shows at wineries, breweries, etc. Think of Van Morrison "Astral Weeks" meeting Talking Heads "77". Lots of influences ranging from Velvet Underground, Remi Wolf, Bill Withers to Joni Mitchell. I have songs written (on acoustic guitar) & am looking to work with an upright bassist to expand on them & incorporate some harmonic complexity as well. Would like to focus on originals but also play some standards (things like: Summertime, Stand by Me, Mrs. Robinson) with a degree of interpretation. The eventual goal would be putting together a full band including a percussionist & lead player. Fully vaxxed, weekly practice. Laid-back while focused. Happy to provide samples & anything else.
