PMI Iowa is actively hiring an Iowa-based Traveling Millwright to join its team in Ames, IA. As a Traveling Millwright, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining bulk-material handling equipment in Iowa and bordering states. PMI Iowa is a family-owned company focused on providing millwright and lift solutions to thousands of customers throughout the Midwest. Job Responsibilities: • Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders, and saws, as well as non-powered hand tools • Assemble and install drag conveyors, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, etc. • Interpret basic diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures • Adhere to OSHA safety policies, procedures, and practice Job Requirements: • High school diploma/GED • 1+ year of millwright or related experience required; 2+ years of grain-related millwright experience preferred • Climb and work at heights of 200-300 feet • Ability to travel primarily Monday-Friday, but also 10 days on and 4 days off when the job requires Benefits & Perks: • Pay $20--$30/hr based on experience • Per diem: $100 per overnight stay when traveling • Medical, dental and vision insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Disability and life insurance • Paid vacations and holidays • Year-round employment PMI Iowa is eager to welcome a new team member.
