Full Time Remodel Work - Entry Level Position

I am looking for a responsible worker to help out with residential rehab and make ready. I do rental and flip properties (mostly in Killeen but sometimes Cove, Temple, etc) and need to add a person long term. This is an entry level position although some construction experience is preferred. Basic examples of the tasks include drywall repair, demo, painting, flooring & trim install, removing/replacing toilets, exterior carpentry, hanging doors, pressure washing, hanging fans, masonry repair, yard work, cabinet install, etc. We can train n most things but a reasonable understanding of power tools, construction practices and safety are definitely a plus. AVAILABLE WORK Work is full time (35 to 40 hours) and I would like to find someone who is a good fit long-term to grow with us. We can work around a schedule if you have other work *but* most work is Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm and at this point I am really only looking for someone who would do this as their main gig, at least 4 days a week but ideally 5 days. ABOUT YOU The right person for this is reliable, communicates well and is able to be on time and work a full day. We work a small crew so showing up every day is pretty crucial. Minimal drama, minimal broken vehicles, no drugs, etc. You must have reliable transportation and basic hand and power tools. Knowing everything isn’t the most important thing to me *but* attention to detail, communication, good attitude, willingness to learn and caring about a job well done is a must. We do good work and take time to make sure things are right. DETAILS/PAY Pay is $13 an hour to start and there is potential for more responsibility & pay long term. Employment is contract/1099 (you won’t be an employee) and you will need to be able to fill out a W-9 (ID & SS# required). Pay is typically every two weeks but I’m flexible as reasonable.
