Paragon Sports Constructors is a turn-key contractor of natural and synthetic turf sports fields, running tracks, and tennis courts. We also manage small stadium and facility renovations that include lighting, bleachers, press boxes, parking, and pavements. We are one of the leading outdoor sports facility contractors in the south-central United States and are seeking construction labor to build and install projects across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Prior experience in sports construction is not required but is a plus. Ability to operate machinery not required but is a plus. Job functions: • Willingness to use various pieces of equipment. • Willingness to learn about sports construction best practices and adhere to quality standards in the field. • Ability to carry / lift objects weighing 50+ lbs. • Ability to climb, kneel, crawl, or maintain balance around trenches, ladders, and heavy machinery. • Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, and other particulates on a jobsite. • Ability to tolerate adverse working conditions such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. • Willingness to work overtime or fluctuating work weeks to meet project deadlines. • Willingness to travel and stay for extended periods in temporary housing. • Willingness to follow safety practices and standards. • Willingness to adhere to company’s core principles and values. Requirements: • Maintains a generally pleasant attitude, is reliable, honest, and motivated self-starter. • Able to work in team environment. • Reliable means of transportation to/from shop in Fort Worth, TX • Able to pass drug screen and background check Compensation This is an hourly position with a 60-day evaluation period from date of hire: • Pay range of $14+ per hour depending on experience. • Holiday bonus based on time of service. • Company shirts, hats, and other work gear as provided. • Company truck for qualified drivers (with license) After 60-days, full-time hourly employees are eligible for: • Pay raise • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with company contribution towards deductible • Health savings account • Short- and long-term disability • Company paid life insurance.
