JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking to add to our growing network of independent contractors. We are on the hunt for skilled and reliable Handymen. These additions to our network of providers will be responsible for repair duties including clients’ maintenance requests, basic tasks, and performance assessments. Typical jobs have 2–4-hour minimums and can run up to multiple days, depending on client needs. Dispatch will discuss work orders that best fit your determined skill set, availability, and geographic location/area and then assign you to work daily/weekly. Qualified applicants must have the ability to communicate with customers and dispatch professionally and effectively, accurately describe the suggested course of action, the scope of work, estimated time frame to complete the work, and any additional special considerations needed to best fulfill the request. Responsibilities: Perform Basic Tasks Door Install / Repair Ceiling Tiles General Installations Cabinet Repair Shelving Picture/Art/Mirror Installations Ceiling Fans/Light Fixtures/Chandeliers Garage Door Opener Installation Window Treatments Furniture Assembly Lock Changes TV Mounting Speaker Wiring Internet Wiring Stereo Installation and Program Smart Home Installation Other Handyman Services OTHER SKILLS INCLUDE: Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused Outcome-oriented -- results-focused with a strong performance culture Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative Must have current driver's license and insurance Must have 3+ years of experience in handyman field or construction-related fields Must be able to use all power and manual tools. Must be able to use table and miter saw. Must be comfortable on ladders and second-story roofs. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must possess own transportation, materials, and own equipment/tools of that specific trade to perform the job. Must pass screening process which includes a background check Independent contractors must carry liability insurance and workers comp (provided by the company) Must have a smartphone and access to the Internet Jobs will be done on an on-call basis. You will work anywhere between 8-40 hours per week. Please only apply if you are interested in on-call work. There will be a quick 3-part interview for each candidate. If the candidate passes the first part, they will be asked to participate in the second part at another time.
