NASHUA, NH — A sales manager at a Gate City hotelier has been honored for being a model employee and going above and beyond for customers and the community. Mary Hill of Bedford, who works at the Courtyard by Marriott in Nashua, received the Roedel Companies "values in action" award at a recent company-wide meeting. She was selected from more than 40 people nominated by company employees. The company created the award seen years to honor both employees and external partners who focus on company objectives, customer service, professional development, teamwork, and community service. "Mary is one of the most generous people I know," said Maureen Shelley, the director of Employee Development for Roedel Companies, who also leads the Values in Action award committee. "She cares deeply for her team and makes herself available to assist any person she comes in contact with, which she does with grace and professionalism. We are honored to bestow Mary with this award and to have her in our organization." Danielle Archambault, another sales manager at the Marriott, nominated Hill. "There is not a day that goes by without Mary exemplifying one of Roedel's core values," she said. "(Hill) is a model employee."
