Description

I'm 39. Been playing for a quarter-century. I'm looking to play something challenging and creative. I play with a single bass drum pedal. Ideally, I would to play drum-and-bass, mathrock (hella, lightning bolt), mathcore (dillinger escape plan), psychedelic (Hendrix with Mitchell), or blues-based power trio (Cream but not dorky). Something with an edge. I like to show off and I like other musicians who do too. I think music should wow people and move them by doing things with sound that they could never do or have never heard before. That's what I try to do. Not literally all the time, but some of the time. If you don't believe me, check out this song my old band released 15 years ago. I hope you like it. Go to SoundCloud and search for Time (Past, Present, Future, Post-Future) by Rocket Surgery (CL won't let me post the link) It would take work to be as good and tight as some of those artists I mentioned, but I'm willing to put in the work with the right partners. I'm also open to hard-hitting covers of The Stooges, the Yardbirds, and other edgy old s***. Let me know if this sounds cool. Looking for musicians—guitars, bass, synth—around my age or younger.
