Fellow Austin Musicians... Aspiring Jimmy Sutton wannabe upright bassist has been searching high and low for my very own JD McPherson. Seriously, I'm a regularly gigging bassist (e. bass guitar w/Pearl Snaps) who has been working on my upright chops for a while and looking for a side project to play slap upright bass. Jump blues/early R&B/proto-rockabilly/Honky Tonk ca 1940s/50s pretty much describes the genres that interest me. If you don't love J.D. please don't bother responding! Need a bit more clarity?
