Description

NASHUA, NH — Burlington Stores, an off-price retail chain with four locations in New Hampshire, will reopen for business Friday. To celebrate the reopening, the stores, located in Concord, Manchester, Nashua, and Portsmouth, will be offering a 50 percent discount, with some exclusions, on already discounted merchandise. The sale is offered to help the dollars of customers go further during these unprecedent times, according to Michael O'Sullivan, the CEO of Burlington Stores. "We have been looking forward to safely reopening our store locations and providing extraordinary values on our wide assortment of merchandise to area residents," O'Sullivan said Michael O'Sullivan. "These are challenging times for all of us and the need for value is greater than ever. We look forward to welcoming our customers and associates back into our stores." Before reopening, the stores are implementing recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the World Health Organization to protect both employees and customers from COVID-19. Employees will be screened before returning to work, and will wear face coverings and gloves when serving customers. Other precautions include social distancing signage, one-way entrances and exits, wider checkout lanes, and spaces between registers. "Routine cleaning and disinfection" upgrades include all areas of the store, frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, sanitization materials, shopping cart wipes, and deep cleaning response plans. It is unknown at post time how long the 50 percent off sale will run. Residents seeking employment opportunities can check for openings at the company's jobs website located here. Got a news tip?
